Lemonade Quilt Block

I'm excited to share this Lemonade Quilt Block with you today. I've joined Quilt Block Mania, where we come up with a free* quilt block each month following a specific theme and colour combination.

This month's theme is Picnic/BBQ and what drink fits better with a meal outdoors than a nice glass of cold lemonade?

This block is foundation paper pieced and has a few smaller pieces, so it's more suitable if you have some experience with FPP. 

I had some fun with my sample and added some pizzaz with a pink table. I think it'll work perfectly with a few more summery treats as a table runner, or if I get really ambitious it might be my next picnic quilt.

Of course you can easily change the colour of the drink and the slice of citrus and make just about any summery drink or cocktail.

How about a pink lemonade?

A nice glass of sangria?

Or a classic gin and tonic?
