Polar Peaks Table Runner - the Tula Pink version
This is a quick and easy, fat quarter friendly table runner pattern. You can get it delivered straight to your inbox by signing up to my mailing list.
Polar Peaks uses simple half-square triangles to show off a fabric collection or some favourite fabrics you might have saved for that perfect project.
In this pattern you’ll learn the best method for beginners to make half square triangles. You will make HSTs two at a time, leaving you with triangles cut on the straight of grain which means less distortion and more fun piecing and finishing the project.
This pattern is perfect for quick gifts, be that for the holidays, a birthday or a housewarming. Simply choose a few small to medium scale prints and a coordinating background and you will have the top finished in an afternoon.
Polar Peaks plays especially well with fabric collections and small fat quarter bundles, but the options are endless. Go for a monochromatic look by selecting lighter and darker prints in a single colour, or choose complementary colours for more wow factor.

The fabrics I used for this sample are from Tula Pink’s Slow and Steady collection, with Essex linen in Cadet by Robert Kaufman.
Hi Linda,
you can get the pattern by signing up to my email list, just click the link (underlined text that says “my mailing list”) in the very first sentence at the top of this blog post. Once you sign up, you’ll get an email with the download.
Hope that helps!
I would like this quilt pattern sent to my mailbox. T Y
Hi Joyce, you can still “sign up” to receive various downloadables on my blog even if you’re already officially signed up to the newsletter. The sign up option is just a tech workaround for me to tell my email provider what to tag you with. So if you sign up to get one of the free monthly blocks, for example, your email address will be tagged with the name of that block, so if I ever make updates or need to send an email to everyone who downloaded something that has a mistake in it, I can sort the list by those tags and email only those people who got it. As long as you keep using the same email address to sign up, it doesn’t add you to the list multiple times, it just adds tags. Hope that helps. Happy quilting! cheers Monika
I would like this pattern and I am already signed up for the newsletter Is it still possible to get the pattern??? Thanks :)
