Dancing Hearts - Variations
Dancing Hearts is a modern, versatile heart quilt that works in many different colourways and fabrics.
To help you imagine your own Dancing Hearts quilt, and give you a bit of inspiration to get started, I put together a collection of mockups of this quilt to show you what is possible with this pattern.
The Dancing Hearts quilt pattern is available in the pattern shop as a PDF instant download, as well as a printed pattern booklet.
The pink ombre pattern cover is on the blog here.
Dancing Hearts - Ombre versions and gradients
The cover version of this quilt is an ombre of Kona solids in Ice Peach, Peach, Salmon, Melon, Punch, and Pomegranate. I love how the ombre makes it look like it's glowing, so here are a couple more ombre versions for your inspiration.

And you can add in a second colour for a lovely ombre-like gradient.

Dancing Hearts - Rainbow versions
If you've been around here for a bit, you know I love rainbow quilts. There are many ways to make Dancing Hearts work with rainbows, from pastel to bright colours. And you don't have to go with the actual ROYGBIV line-up of the colours either, feel free to start with any colour and just work your way around the colour wheel.

Dancing Hearts - Print fabrics
Print fabrics bring another dimension to this quilt. Regardless of whether you use a single collection, or a fabric pull of your own making, play around with the fabric arrangement before sewing because different elements of the quilt will stand out depending on which fabrics are placed where. You may be surprised that you end up liking a different arrangement better than your original idea.
