Quilt pattern
You'll need the Bar Code quilt pattern to participate. Bar Code is an easy and fun quilt to make, and build your strip piecing skills. It's suitable for adventurous beginners.
The Bar Code quilt pattern is available in the pattern shop as either a PDF instant download, or a printed pattern booklet.
Material requirements
Bar Code is a stash-friendly quilt pattern!
Use fabrics from your stash or your scrap bins to make this quilt. I'll be using scraps for my quilt along version.
Bar Code quilt options
The Bar Code quilt pattern has lots of options.
You can use either yardage, fat quarters, or scraps to make the Bar Code quilt. Use assorted fat quarters or yardage from your stash to make a two-block version like this one.
Use your scraps to make your blocks. Choose assorted scraps for the stripes, and either a single fabric or an assortment of same-coloured scraps for the background.

Or make it two-tone by selecting a single colour each for the stripes and the background. This version has a very striking, minimalist look.

There is a colouring sheet and some extra fabric help in the welcome email, and a blog post with mockups for inspiration.
Longarming services
Some fabulous longarmers both north and south of the border (that's the Canada/US border) have offered a 20% discount on computerized edge-to-edge quilting for any Bar Code QAL quilts that are sent to them before the end of May 2022.
